Post-Production & Timelines
How long will it take before we get our films?
We film a limited number of weddings a year, a maximum of 20. This allows us to focus on each one adequately. We are not “cookie-cutter” filmmakers; we do not roll them out on a production line. Instead, each film spends focused time in post-production where we beautifully craft your unique story. Our turnaround time is usually 30 – 40 days.
What is the “Highlights” film?
Your Highlights film is an edited-down version of the “Main Feature.” We add pace and further finesse your film. It is usually 5–10 minutes in viewing time. This is the perfect length to share easily online with your friends.

Our Films & Storytelling
What is your documentary styled film?
We believe no short cuts exist when editing a wedding film, so we always begin with the full documentary version. We edit your entire day—from preparation through late-night dancing. You will receive this version so you can re-experience your entire day. We use this full film like a treasure hunt to extract what is essential for the story-telling part of your main film. This version is usually 50–80 minutes long. Clients often appreciate this version because they missed so many small details or were not in the same space at that moment.
What is the “Main Feature” film?
Once we find the essential parts of your story, we carefully craft them into a cinematic film. This includes a professional soundtrack, colour grading, and at its heart, your personal story. This is usually 20–30 minutes in viewing time.
Who picks the music?
Respectfully, I pick the music! Having filmed and edited weddings for 15 years, I have a strong sense of what music enhances the film, giving it that cinematic feel. Most importantly, we pay for and legally license all music we put online. This supports the music artist in their craft. However, I always listen to a client’s input.

Style, Experience & Differentiation
What is your style?
We always look the part and blend in well with your well-dressed guests. However, you are probably interested in our style of filming. Our films are authentic and timeless, touched with an emotional mysticism, romance, and elegance. Drawing from my background in feature films and documentaries, we create films that tell the story of your wedding day unobtrusively and artistically. We treat every shoot as the most important one we will ever have. We carefully consider, interpret, and enhance what falls into our frame to present a professional, movie-like experience. What sets you apart from other wedding videographers?
Engagement sets us apart. We meet every couple before their wedding day to get to know them and hear their story unfold—this is key to good storytelling in their film. We also go to great lengths to remain as unobtrusive as possible. Since we have experience and a solid skill set, blending in is easy for us. Excellent editing, camera work, sound track, and powerful storytelling is what we pride ourselves in.
How long have you been a wedding videographer?
I have pursued this passion for wedding films, storytelling, and travelling the globe for about 15 years now. Incidentally, I spent 15 years in the movie industry before identifying my passion in wedding cinematography. It is an addiction I can’t give up!

Logistics & Booking
Do you film weddings outside of South Africa?
Yes, we do. Even though we are based in a beautiful location in the Cape Winelands, we are close to airports and highways. We can get to almost anywhere in a matter of hours. We travel and work throughout South Africa, and Italy. You can visit our Italian Wedding Videography website.
Do you need to feed us and water us?
Not really, but we hope that you will! Hungry and thirsty videographers tend to think about their tummies rather than the wedding underway. Providing us with a meal on the day will not only be appreciated but will save time and avoid us having to unpack our picnic basket.

We strongly believe that your investment with us reflects the quality of our work. We continually invest in technology and equipment that makes our films better. We invest time into your film at every level to produce a unique and authentic product, all the time and every time! Do you work well with photographers?
Absolutely, especially those who can identify that the couple are the most important people on the day. The bride is your queen; we do as she wishes. I have made many friends in this industry and have even taken photos as a second shooter for some photographers.
