Love under the Tuscan sun in this remarkable part of Tuscany was witnessed by beautiful people from all over the globe who gathered to witness the saying of “I Do” at the destination wedding in Italy of Salman and Afton.

What a day capturing this marvellous and joyous celebration on the terraces of this gorgeous wedding venue with the food and wine flowing, Tuscan style. Weddings in Italy are often about the food, and when it comes to the local Tuscan and Umbrian kitchen you can expect exquisite fare. Your guests will not be disappointed as was in this case where guests enjoyed course after course (another Italian tradition at weddings) of the best Tuscany has to offer on the culinary front.

This wedding in Italy was glamorous and authentic Tuscany and we enjoyed filming the special detail including a “first look” where Afron the beautiful bride approached her handsome husband for the first time. This you can watch in the carefully edited wedding video highlights on this page.

Borgo i Tre Baroni (meaning “the three barons”) is a charming country lodge set up high on a hillside overlooking the treetops of the majestic Casentino forest and valley beyond. In these hills nearby is a famous Hermitage where Saint Francis of Assisi would go to pray in the 1200s.

This part of Tuscany is equally beautiful but more “wild” than the popular images of traditional Tuscany. It is not the rolling hills of wheat, olives and grape vines and it is rumoured that this forest is home to a pack of wolves. We did not hear them howling, but they are protected in this nature reserve and they are around. How exciting to be so close to wild nature!

This part of Tuscany is the perfect escape to nature, and a special location for a couple looking for an authentic Tuscan wedding in Italy that they and their guests will remember forever.
